KVC Health Systems is Hiring a Permanency Supervisor Near Topeka, KS
- To continue to build a child welfare system that is safe, secure, and stable; family centered, connected to the community; and which relies on evidence-based practice necessary to support contract services in Kansas
- Monitor the overall case management services for children and families
- Ensure the implementation of program services and carry out the goals and objectives of the permanency department
- Serve as a consultant for case management teams
- Supervise employees, create individual work assignments, and evaluate job performance
- Ensure that case plans are developed and individualized for clients and families
- Review and critique reports
- Monitor timelines and documentation
- Train and monitor employees on policies and procedures and ensure that policies and procedures are followed
- Serve as on-call contact for staff during emergency situations
- Ensure that services are in compliance with all regulatory standards and contract terms and conditions
- Coordinate appointments, discharges, disciplinary action and other personnel issues with the Human Resources Department
- Understand contract requirements and work to improve contract specific outcomes
- Maintain working relationships/communication with the Department for Children and Families (DCF), courts and other community partners
- Assist employees in finding community resources for the families they serve
- Ensure that all court orders are completed as directed by the court
- Attend internal organizational meetings, as assigned
- Oversee in-service training for staff and ensure the completion of required annual in-service hours and other required trainings
- Understand contract requirements and work to improve contract specific outcomes
- Maintain working relationships/communication with DCF, courts, and other community partners
- Assist workers in finding community resources such as housing, utilities, and mental and physical health care
- Ensure that all court orders are completed as directed by the court
- Attend required trainings
Education:
- Master’s degree in a field licensable by the BSRB
Licensure/Certification:
- BSRB Licensure within the state of KS
- Current Driver’s License and Auto Insurance
Experience:
- Three years’ experience in children and family services
- Requires Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as Outlook email
